Mike Eckert

Sous Chef

Our Sous Chef Mike Eckert graduated from culinary school at Johnson and Wales in Rhode Island in 2014, after which he started working the line at Legal  Sea Foods Harborside. He then went on to cook with the Aquitaine Group's Roman Trattoria Cinquecento, where he was quickly promoted to Sous Chef. Here he crushed it cooking Italian food for a year and a half, and then transitioned to the group's newest addition to the South End, La Motta’s, where he worked until they closed. Shortly thereafter Mike started as the Sous Chef at Parsnip, and then made his way here to Fat Hen where he has proven himself to be an invaluable part of the team.
